Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

  • Type of Paper

JSNM accept review and research articles (invited or submitted, not more than 30 pages and 3,000-10,000-word count) focused in its contribution towards the advancement of nuclear science and technology will be considered for publication in e-JSNM. Please prepare your manuscript using the JSNM template.

Journal Policy

  • Publishing Policy

JSNM follows a policy of publishing only original, unpublished research. Therefore, we do not accept papers that include any previously reported research, or that contain text, data, figures, tables, illustrations, or other copyrighted materials that have been submitted or accepted for publication in any form, whether in journals or conference proceedings, in print or electronic formats.

The authors' work must be free from plagiarism, including ideas, data, text, figures, and other content. Authors must provide a full declaration to the Editors upon submitting their manuscript, affirming that the research presented is entirely original and has not been previously published. If an author attempts or engages in redundant or duplicate publication, they should anticipate swift editorial action, including the immediate rejection of the submitted manuscript. Submitting a manuscript that includes redundant or duplicate publication of the same or closely related research violates the journal's policies.

It is the sole responsibility of the authors to ensure that all manuscripts are original, unpublished in any form or media, do not infringe on any copyrights, and are free from plagiarized, fraudulent, or improperly attributed content. Extended or modified versions of previously published abstracts or papers from any conference or journal are strictly prohibited.

  • Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

  • Journal Review Policy

The review procedure takes around three months before publication. Qualified nuclear science and technology experts are appointed to conduct a double-blind review.

The author is responsible for ensuring that his or her submitted work does not infringe any existing copyright. Authors should obtain permission to reproduce or adapt copyrighted material and provide evidence of approval upon submitting the final version of a manuscript.
